regional collaboration

The responsibility of pooling RFBS data lies in three institutions in every country as follows: -

  • Ministry of Agriculture
  • Private Sector – Coordinated by EAGC
  • Food Relief Agencies – Coordinated by WFP

Food balance sheet shows the a brief picture of the pattern of the food supply of a country. For each food item, it sketches the primary commodity availability for human consumption i.e. the sources of supply and its utilisation .
